The Waterman-Lake Improvement District was created by the St. Louis City Board of Alderman to provide for services, activities and improvements to ehhance the quality of life in the District. These include:
*providing landscaping and decorative planting;
*constructing, installing and/or maintaining such public improvements as lighting, fountains, sidewalks, etc.
*maintaining streets and public spaces;
*limiting traffic and/or narrow or widen streets and alleys to improve the District;
*sponsoring and promoting District events and other activities;
*providing special police and/or security measures; and
*providing special cleaning services.
