The Waterman-Lake Improvement District is a tax-supported entity with the mission of improving the quality of life in our neighborhood. Some of our projects have included building a fountain and street planters, planting and maintaining landscaping in public spaces and sponsoring events such as our outdoor movie nights.

Over 200 turn out for second outdoor movie
After the success of its first outdoor movie Ghostbusters, the Waterman-Lake Improvement District sponsored Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraser in 3D! More than 200 people showed up for the 3D experience, almost twice as many as for the first event. The Association provided free kettlecorn, ice cream novelties, soda and water, but many residents brought their own picnics. Given the popularity of this event, the Trustees are looking to sponsor another in spring 2010.
