| District wants to add historic lighting to street |

Now that the District has completed the installation of the fountains and planters along the street, the next stage of the streetscape improvement plan is to add historic-style lighting. The lights in the planters are examples of the design that has been selected.
The District has begun exploring the cost and feasibility of adding lights either throughout the entire street or in part. We also are exploring possible funding sources to supplement our current operating budget.
At our September meeting, the Trustees will discuss grant applications, as well as moving forward with small projects involving upgrading crosswalks and intersections, as well as additional lighting.
